Nothing like pulling through a parking space and ending up next to the not-super-tall (especially compared to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) back of a Camry to remind me that the front of my car is a bit low. In a good way.

The back end of like every newer car is crazy high. My Miata could disappear while parked between current gen Honda Civics. Damn safety regs making even the “small” cars crazy large.

That’s not a Camry... The back bumper isn’t dented.

The back of my car is actually kinda low compared to most modern cars, especially with the lowered suspension. Like yesterday I parked next to a coworker’s previous-gen Hyundai Sonata (like a 2011 or something) and the top of her trunk was noticeably taller than mine.

But what if...the other corner is dented?

(Actually this Camry’s back bumper was fully intact.)

Well yeah, it seems like it’s especially the economy/family cars that seem to have huge rear ends. Even the Ford Fiesta sedan looks really high. That is mostly why that car looks so bad.

The uber high rear of the coupe ATS makes me want to vomit.

In my group of (car) friends, my E90 M3 (stock ride height) is referred to as the “Family Truckster”. I’m still faster than all of them around the track. =)
